Harmony's journey with sickle cell disease began at just two weeks old. The diagnosis brought uncertainty, but Children's of Alabama provided the support and knowledge her family needed. While frequent hospitalizations and blood transfusions became part of her life, the compassionate staff eased the burden. Through a clinical trial at Children's of Alabama, Harmony found a medication that improved her health significantly and today, she's an active cheerleader and tumbler.
