Meet Aydan
Aydan's journey began with a complex set of medical conditions, including an enlarged heart and a single kidney. At three years old, he faced heart failure and a stroke, requiring intensive care and rehabilitation. Levine Children's Hospital became his home for five months as he awaited a heart transplant, supported by a Berlin Heart. Even during the toughest times, Aydan's spirit shone through, bringing smiles to everyone around him. Thanks to the generosity of an organ donor, Aydan received a new heart, and today, he's thriving, embracing life with joy and gratitude.
