Preston: A devastating accident at 23 months old left Preston with a severe brain injury. The journey that followed was long and arduous, filled with surgeries, a coma, and the challenge of relearning basic functions. But at Driscoll Children's Hospital, Preston found unwavering support. The expert medical team, coupled with resources funded by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, empowered him to overcome obstacles and make remarkable progress. Today, Preston continues his journey with resilience, a testament to the power of specialized care and the strength of the human spirit. Tialy: Tialy's journey began with a dramatic entrance into the world, born prematurely with severe complications. The neonatal intensive care unit at Driscoll Children's Hospital became her first home, where she faced surgeries and a diagnosis of PHACE Syndrome, a complex disorder affecting multiple systems. Through specialized care and unwavering support, Tialy thrived, defying expectations and graduating from kindergarten with flying colors. Today, she's active and joyful, a testament to the power of early intervention and the resilience of the human spirit.
