Meet Natalee
Natalie was 6 when she started to experience stomach pains. When a lump appeared on the side of her abdomen, she was rushed to Studer Family Children's Hospital. The news was devastating. Natalie had cancer, a neuroblastoma tumor on her kidney. The treatment was aggressive and difficult: 15 rounds of chemotherapy and surgery to remove the affected kidney. Today, Natalee is a vibrant and energetic cancer survivor. Her mother describes her as a whirlwind of strength, creativity, and determination. Traits that have only grown through her experience.
