Meet Jonah
Born with multiple challenges, including dislocated hips and broken femurs, Jonah's journey was met with uncertainty. A diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) with lower extremity predominance 1, brought further complexities. But at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, Jonah found a team dedicated to his progress. Through surgeries, therapies, and adaptive sports programs, he's defied limitations, embracing his love for activity and inspiring others with his strength.
