Meet August (Auggie)
August's (Auggie) world was turned upside down at two years old when a routine check-up revealed leukemia. Despite the diagnosis, Auggie's spirit remained strong. He faced treatment with courage, finding joy in playing with his brothers and watching his favorite shows. At Norton Children's Hospital, the Child Life team and facility dog Luna provided comfort and companionship during his stays. Today, Auggie is in remission, attending preschool and enjoying a happy, healthy life.
