Meet Everett
Everett's early years were filled with challenges of frequent epileptic seizures. Despite medications, his condition worsened, impacting his development. At Corewell Health Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, advanced imaging technology, funded in part by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, helped pinpoint the source of his seizures. A hemispherectomy followed, a complex procedure that removed the seizure-causing area in Everett's brain.
