Meet Hailee
At 3 years old, Hailee's world changed with a diagnosis of Morquio Syndrome - a rare genetic disease. It impacts every part of her body except for her brain, and the only current treatment is weekly enzyme replacement therapy. The team at Seattle Children's came together to give Hailee the best care possible, while Seattle Children's financial assistance program - powered by the generosity of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals - helped to ensure Hailee's parents could focus on her care rather than its cost. Today, Hailee is a bright, bubbly 9-year-old with dreams of YouTube stardom.
