Preston's journey began when he was born at just 25 weeks, weighing a mere 1 pound 3 ounces. His tiny lungs weren't fully developed, requiring the assistance of life-saving ventilator machines. The neonatal intensive care unit at Lauren Small Children's Center became his home for 141 days, filled with uncertainty and challenges. But with the unwavering support of the NICU team and advanced equipment, Preston defied the odds. Today, he's a thriving toddler, proving that even the smallest fighters can overcome immense obstacles.
