Meet Rhydian
The summer Rhydian was 11, a painful swelling on his arm turned out to be a rare muscle cancer. He faced six months of aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. The physical toll was immense, but the emotional one was just as significant. At UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals, Rhydian found solace in music therapy and integrative medicine programs, funded by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. These programs helped him manage pain, anxiety, and find moments of joy amidst the challenges.
