McMaster Children’s Hospital is home to specialized pediatric care for children and youth in south-central Ontario, and is the second largest provider of inpatient pediatric services in Ontario. With more than 210,000 patient visits a year, we provide a full range of specialized pediatric services including a dedicated emergency department, more than 40 outpatient clinics, the province’s largest neonatal intensive care unit including supportive maternal care, one of Canada’s largest child and youth inpatient mental health programs, and the only pediatric trauma centre in the region. A range of specialized outpatient services operate at the Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre, as part of McMaster Children’s Hospital.
