Children’s Hospitals Need Our Help

Children’s hospitals are having to do more with less at a time when kids’ healthcare needs are becoming more complex and urgent. We can do more, so hospitals can do more. Because our kids deserve more.
Join the movement to ensure Health For All Kids.

We Are Pledging To Raise $1 Billion In Two Years

Children’s hospitals need more support and we’re answering the call. We’re ramping up our fundraising efforts, but we need your help. Every donation, no matter the size, helps advance the health of all kids today and in the future. And 100% of your donation supports your local children’s hospital, helping kids in your community while also helping raise a billion dollars for all kids in need of care.

Adam Devine

Actor and Children's Miracle Network Ambassador

"My connection to Children’s Miracle Network is personal. I spent way too much time in both adult and children’s hospitals growing up, and the children’s hospital was way better. Not only do they let you play PlayStation, (which was awesome) they make kids feel safe during the scariest moments of their lives. Kids deserve to be kids for as long as possible, and that’s why I support this pledge—because kids deserve more, and hospitals need the resources to make that happen."

Shawn Johnson

Children's Miracle Network Board of Trustees Member

"I support the pledge because I’m passionate about children’s health. As an Olympic gold medalist and ambassador for Children's Miracle Network, I’m proud to use my platform to share the life-changing work these hospitals do for all kids and families."

David Marriott

Chairman of the Board, Marriott International

"For more than 40 years, Marriott International has stood with Children’s Miracle Network in their effort to raise funds for local children’s hospitals. I’m honored to support this pledge and carry forward Marriott’s legacy of care and compassion."

Marie Osmond

Cofounder, Children’s Miracle Network

"As a co-founder of Children’s Miracle Network, I’ve seen firsthand how generosity changes lives. I’ve seen it in my own family with my kids and grandkids. This $1 billion pledge is about one clear goal. Health for all kids. Together, we are committing to families everywhere that every child deserves access to the care they need, today and for generations to come.”

Melissa Von Rohr

Children's Miracle Network Donor

"I support this pledge because my older sister has had a rare metabolic condition since birth, and the only place that can adequately research and treat her condition is a children's hospital. She continues to be treated there to this day.”

Jasmine Sweet

Influencer, The Sweet House, LLC and Friend of CMN

“As a mother, nothing matters more to me than the health and well-being of our children. Children’s Miracle Network supports families during life’s hardest moments, and I’m proud to stand behind an organization that shows up with compassion, care, and life-changing impact.”

The Challenges Hospitals Face

Children’s hospitals provide lifesaving treatments, preventive care, research and a safe place where kids can thrive. But they face an uncertain future. As healthcare challenges evolve, we must evolve with them. Through increased philanthropy, we can help local hospitals address kids’ health needs today while also advancing what’s possible in healthcare so all kids can have a chance for brighter, healthier futures.

Unstable Funding

Today, most children’s hospitals do not have enough resources to meet the needs of their communities. As nonprofit organizations, much of their funding comes from sources beyond their control, including government reimbursements, grants and donations. Increasingly, hospitals are doing more with less.

Care Complexity

As more children struggle with mental health, hospitals need resources to keep up with growing demand. They also need support for programs that help patients without insurance and address community health issues like food insecurity. Treating these urgent priorities protects the safety and well-being of all kids.

Less Research

Many children’s hospitals are at the forefront of developing new, lifesaving treatments. These treatments often become the standard of care for all kids, from the tiniest babies to full-grown adolescents. To continue this work, they need resources to advance research and provide specialized equipment.
