Camila was born three months early, weighing just 1 pound. The NICU at University of New Mexico Children's Hospital became her home for three long months. But the hospital's Child Life playroom, laundry facilities, and compassionate staff provided comfort and support, making the experience feel less daunting. Today, Camila is a thriving six-year-old, a testament to the power of neonatal care and the importance of family-centered support.
