Meet Elliott
At two years old, Elliott was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer. The only option was to remove his left eye. The journey was filled with fear and uncertainty, but the compassionate care at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center made all the difference. Elliott received a sedated MRI, ensuring an accurate diagnosis, and his family found strength in the hospital's Child Life program, supported by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Today, Elliott is a vibrant and energetic six-year-old, embracing life with his "special eye."
