A Children's Miracle Network Partner Since 2022
The first Giant Eagle supermarket opened on Brownsville Road in Pittsburg in 1936. Throughout the 30s and 40s, through the hardships of the Great Depression and World War II, the chain of Giant Eagle supermarkets and OK Grocery Food Stores grew steadily throughout Pittsburgh-area neighborhoods. Now, there are over 222 stores across the northeast and central areas. 2022 marked the first year of an official partnership with Giant Eagle and CMN Hospitals. Giant Eagle supports local member hospitals of CMN Hospitals through the proceeds of the sales of their $1 Little Shopper Cards.
