Meet Our Champions

Amelia's journey began with a premature birth and a worrying note from her birth mother. The attentive care at the Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at Children's Health quickly identified a heart issue requiring surgery. Though her heart was repaired, developmental delays persisted. Thanks to the persistence of her care team and early interventions supported by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Amelia was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Through therapies and unwavering support, she defied expectations, walking without braces and even playing soccer.
