Luna's vibrant childhood took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at seven years old. The once energetic girl struggled with fatigue, frequent illness, and the loss of her usual spark. But at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital, she found support and guidance. Thanks to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Luna received the education and resources needed to manage her condition, including attending a specialized diabetes camp. Today, Luna is embracing activities and rediscovering the joy in life's simple treasures.
