Owen's life began with a challenging diagnosis: a congenital heart defect. Still only days old, he underwent open-heart surgery at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the first of many medical hurdles he would face. During an additional surgery out of state, Owen experienced multiple strokes that left him with paralysis and seizures. His family then returned to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer for his care. Thanks to the hospital's expertise and advanced technology, funded in part by partners of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Owen underwent successful brain surgeries, and is now seizure-free. Today, he continues to thrive, enjoying his favorite activities and inspiring others with his resilience.
