Hendrick Medical Center’s 21-bed Hendrick Children’s Hospital is the only facility of its kind in the Texas Midwest region. Patients at Hendrick Children’s Hospital are cared for by nurses specially trained to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients. Services provided by the children’s hospital include day surgery, emergency care, rehabilitation services, complete hearing services, respiratory care, pediatric dental care, diabetic care and a three-bed pediatric intensive care unit. Hendrick Children’s Hospital also features a Child Life Program to offer psychosocial and emotional support for children and their families during their stay.
