Your CMN hospital in Chattanooga, TN
Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is a certified Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center (CRPC), the highest designation in the state of Tennessee for pediatrics. It’s a level of care for children often found only in cities more than twice the size of Chattanooga. As the region’s most comprehensive resource for pediatric hematology/oncology, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger treats more than 92% of our area’s children with cancer. The hospital also offers top rated Level IV care for premature or sick newborns — providing 24-hour, in-house neonatology. We proudly have region’s only pediatric emergency department and trauma center, staffed with board-certified pediatric emergency physicians serving critically ill and injured children 24/7. In 2025, the hospital unveiled two neonatal critical care transport vehicles to assist critically-ill children in our outlying communities. Our Kennedy Outpatient Center has the region’s only dedicated pediatric MRI and surgical suites designed exclusively for children. Additionally, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger is the only teaching pediatric hospital in the region, affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Chattanooga.
