Mohawk Valley Health System is the area’s largest provider of maternity and pediatric services. Our Sammon Family Birthing Center located at Wynn Hospital offers pregnant women and their families all the necessary services, including labor and delivery, the area’s only Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), postpartum care and breastfeeding classes. The 8-bed Pediatric Unit at Wynn Hospital offers specialized care to children 17 and younger. Its Women’s Health Center at the Faxton Campus provides pregnancy testing, counseling, prenatal care and more to women with little or no health insurance. Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy services are also offered.
