Meet Jayden

Jayden’s journey at Tucson Medical Center for Children began when he was born six weeks early, and already proving to be extraordinary. Diagnosed with Caudal regression syndrome, Jayden is missing seven vertebrae, a rare condition that has brought significant challenges to his young life. Over the years, Jayden has undergone multiple surgeries to address complications from his condition, including procedures to improve his mobility and correct club feet. Through every operation and recovery, the care team provided expert medical care, compassion, and support that embraced his whole family. Even Jayden’s younger brother, often by his side during hospital stays, was cared for with kindness and attention. Now 13, Jayden continues to grow stronger every year. His resilience is a testament to the healing power of expert care, unwavering family support, and the community that has rallied around him at Tucson Medical Center for Children.
