Wrenley Grace’s journey began at three months old, when she underwent emergency brain surgery for hydrocephalus at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Over the years, Wrenley has endured five additional brain surgeries and multiple tube placements to support her nutrition and medications. Following her most recent surgery, she developed stroke-like symptoms that left her without mobility in her right arm. With the help of consistent physical and occupational therapy, she has worked tirelessly to relearn everyday skills like holding a fork, writing her name, and washing her hair. One of her proudest milestones came during a Children’s Miracle Network store event, when she joyfully skipped down the aisle with the store manager, showing that she had finally achieved a longawaited goal. Now nine, Wrenley continues therapy weekly and attends check-ups every six months. Her spirit, resilience, and determination inspire everyone she meets.
