Mississippi’s only Children’s Hospital is a seven-floor, 250-bed facility where more than 150,000 children come from all of the state’s 82 counties for treatment. Children’s Hospital houses the state’s only Level I pediatric trauma center, intensive care unit, Level III newborn intensive care unit, children’s cancer clinic, rehabilitation center, child psychiatry unit, dental clinic, child development center and surgical facility-a state-of-the-art unit with seven operating rooms.
