For more than 50 years, Studer Family Children’s Hospital at Ascension Sacred Heart, the regions only children’s hospital solely dedicated to the care of sick and injured babies and children, has had the privilege to care for the children and families of the Gulf Coast, where they live, learn and play. Our wide range of services strives to meet all of a child’s medical needs. Our 126-bed dedicated children’s hospital includes pediatric oncology, surgery and intensive care, as well as the area’s only Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Our pediatric emergency room and pediatric trauma referral center are available when you need us most, and our Neonatal Critical Care Transport Unit and Pediatric Critical Care Transport Units bring life-saving care to communities across our region.
