The 154-bed Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia is the area’s only children’s hospital, dedicated to serving the health care needs of children, from newborns to teenagers. Our teams of more than 80 pediatric specialists use their expertise and training to treat everything from common childhood illnesses to life-threatening conditions. It has the region’s only Pediatric Emergency Department, Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, with air and ground transport, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The hospital also has pediatric radiology services, sedation services, surgery units and cancer units.
