Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago provides comprehensive pediatric care supported by advanced medical technology, leading research, and a family-centered environment. With a more than 140-year history and the largest pediatric footprint in the region, the hospital places children and families at the core of every clinical, research, and care decision.

Research and community health are central to Lurie Children’s mission. Scientific discovery is led through the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute, with more than 750 researchers working across four core scientific pillars to advance prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for pediatric disease. Community health efforts are guided by the Patrick M. Magoon Institute for Healthy Communities, which partners with organizations across Chicago to address health disparities and improve outcomes for children where they live, learn, and play. Philanthropic support fuels this work through the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago Foundation, alongside advocacy efforts led by the hospital’s Public Policy Committee.
